paul hildreth: photographer
Paul Hildreth began his career as a teacher of modern languages before returning to university to study Computer Science, eventually earning a PhD in that subject. More recently he has spent his time as a founder and promoter of the young sport of VX, which combines elements of dodgeball, lacrosse, Basque pelota, and hockey. His varied interests include history, music, animal welfare, and, of course, classic cars. Paul owns a Triumph Herald and a Rover P4 and has built his own kit car, a JBA Falcon.
A few years ago Paul caught the photography bug and made rapid strides quickly winning an international competition. He enjoys several genres but found his niche with automotive photography, where he quickly developed a growing reputation in the field. He enjoys shooting cars for their owners and attending classic and kit car shows which highlight fascinating vehicles with loads of character!
